We use corn-fed chicken thigh meat in our large fried dumplings. We also add a small amount of prawn to create the right texture.

Chicken thigh, prawn (crustaceans), flour (Gluten), spring onion, soy sauce (soybean), water, sesame oil (sesame), chicken powder, salt.

Heating Instructions

-Place dimsum on steam paper provided into the steamer.
-Steam with high heat for 12-14 minutes from frozen.
-Next place dim sum into a pan and fry using a small amount of oil and fry on medium-high heat until golden brown on a side.
-Ensure dim sum is piping hot throughly before consumption.

My prior experience working with the then Global Executive Head Chef of Hakkasan Group allowed me to understand how well educated the customers in the West were on Chinese food and in particular, Dim Sum. The limited availability of specialist dim sum offerings gave me the idea to launch Mai Dim Sum. The rest is history...

Exceptional Dumpling!

Thoroughly enjoyed this dumpling which is now becoming a family staple. Very easy to steam and prepare. Yummy and good portion.

Very tasty

Unfortunately had partially defrosted in transit and then stuck back together so cooking had to be slightly improvised but delicious flavour and lovely crisp bottom from the pan sear. Would buy again

Delicious firm dumplings

These dumplings are great! The filling is generous and keeps a firm texture, and the zing of spring onion really brings the flavour to life. Frying them after steaming gives a great texture and colour to the dough too. Lovely!
