Minced pork cooked in a special peanut sauce. This is an inauthentic take on the traditional Dan Dan noodles from China. I developed the recipe when I was at university and I’ve continued to perfect it. This dish comes with fresh noodles and a very flavourful sauce, all you need to do is add some finely chopped spring onion and a chilli oil of your choice - delicious!

Heating Instructions

As our food is hand-made by our chefs, these reheating instructions are a guide. Check your food is piping hot throughout before serving.

❄️ FROM CHILLED

HOB: Empty paste into a saucepan and heat for 3-4 minutes on a medium/high heat until piping hot. In a separate pan, bring water to boil and add noodles. After 2 minutes, remove water and combine noodles and paste, mixing well. Stand for 1 minute before serving.

Defrost and follow the chilled instructions.

Meet Godfrey

Sen Noods

I started cooking as more of a necessity as a Uni student living in London. I was missing Asian food from home but couldn't afford to eat out. Slowly over the years it has become the biggest passion in my life and during lockdown, I decided to quit my job as a Data Scientist, bought a van and started a street food business called Sen Noods. I am now passionate to share the noodles I grew up eating, and the ones I enjoy making.

Not Good

It’s been a while since I last had this and enjoyed it; can’t say the same today. Not sure why but it tasted far too sweet (more than I remember) almost like eating neat honey😝. The sauce was also full of hard bits (uncooked carrot? Poorly chopped Peanuts??). Anyway sorry but didn’t enjoy this time and probably won’t order it again…

Very tasteful

A lovely rich sauce and soft noodles. Wonderful deep flavours, only spoilt by the rather grainy dry mince. I would love to try a portion with properly cooked and sliced meat.

I can't fault the meal itself it was great tasting. Just a bit too much peanut for me.

It was nice and tasty.

Although it doesn’t look like it, the portion is very filling for one person. Generally easy to make. Not sure how I feel about the mince texture and dare I say the sauce may need a little less salt. Not sure if I’ll grab this again vs other Satay dishes availabe
