Malagasy Style - Vegetable Curry

My Malagasy-inspired vegetable curry is a vibrant journey for your taste buds. I've lovingly simmered a medley of seasonal veg in a rich, coconut-based sauce, infused with fragrant spices like turmeric, ginger, and a hint of vanilla - a nod to Madagascar's famed crop. The curry's got a lovely warmth to it, not too spicy, mind you, but full of depth. A splash of lime juice adds a zippy brightness, whilst a sprinkle of toasted cashews gives it a proper nice crunch. It's proper hearty and flavoursome, perfect for cosying up with on a chilly evening. Served over fluffy rice, and you've got yourself a right treat!

In Madagascar, cooking is a time for family, especially with grandma and grandpa. We cook together rather than relying on the elders of the family to do it on their own. We are taught by our grandma, reminding us it was her mother who taught her and that this is how the tradition of Malagasy dishes stay alive. It's an incredible bonding experience that passes on recipes and techniques for generations to come.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to eat this one. The ingredients and written description have no mention of kidney beans included in the meal and I have an allergy to these.

Tasty veggie curry

This curry has a good, rich flavour without much heat, and there's a good variety of veg. The rice is light and fluffy, even after reheating. However, for my taste there was too much rice compared to the amount of veg and sauce, and the curry had a few sticks of herbs that weren't edible - I'd prefer if they were removed. Tasty though!
