Introducing one of my personal favourites, the traditional Lithuanian delicacy "Zemaiciu Pancake."

This dish is prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, making it a true labour of love. The filling is made from a blend of creamy mashed potatoes and chicken, the potato exterior is pan-fried to achieve a delicate crispy outside. It is then elevated by the addition of a rich mushroom sauce and a dollop of sour cream, creating the perfect balance of flavours. The final touch of fresh dill adds a subtle yet distinct herbal note that brings the dish to life.

Heating Instructions

As our food is hand-made by our chefs, these reheating instructions are a guide. Check your food is piping hot throughout before serving.

❄️ FROM CHILLED

MICROWAVE: Remove the lid and place it loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 3-4 minutes or until piping hot and stand for 1 minute.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Remove the lid and any outer packaging. Place on a baking tray at the top of the oven for 20 minutes or until piping hot.

❄️ ❄️ FROM FROZEN

MICROWAVE: Remove the lid and place it loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 7-8 minutes or until piping hot and stand for 1 minute.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Remove the lid and any outer packaging. Place on a baking tray at the top of the oven for 35 minutes or until piping hot.

Lithuanian Kitchen

I've loved cooking since I was young and it has been a source of confidence for me as well as a creative outlook. Since being in the UK, I've adapted my recipes to cater to the local taste buds, fusing Lithuanian food culture with the British palate. This makes me happy as it allows me to share my country's cuisine with the country I have grown to love.

Love this dish,so tasty, don't want it to end, amazing.

Tasty

I have tried the pork and the mushroom ones but I think this one is my favourite. I did it in the microwave this time and the sauce didn't dry out so much. Lovely with a dollip of sour cream or creme fraiche.

Large was a great portion for two with some extra veg on the side. Very filling. Personally would prefer it a bit more seasoned. We don't have an air fryer so did a mix of microwave to warm up and oven to crisp. Would love more sauce!

This was really nice.
I microwaved it and I think I would prob put it in the oven next time to crisp it up.
It's very soft cooked in the microwave so depends on what you prefer.
Mostly the sauce dries up but it still makes it have a lovely taste and keeps it from being dry.
The chicken inside is really yummy.
Very nice for a lunch.

unfortunatly the sauce dried out but the pancake was nice, liked the flavour of the minced chicken
