Lamb Hotpot

My lamb hotpot is a classic comfort dish with a twist. Tender diced lamb is simmered in a flavourful broth of chicken and lamb stock, enriched with dark soy and red wine. We add aromatic garlic, onion, ginger, and a touch of allspice, then layer it with hearty potatoes and sweet carrots. Tasty and filling

Gorgeous tender lamb and lots of it. Gravy unusual and tasty. After consulting Home Cooks as to the suitability of the containers in the oven I used my Ninja air fryer. From chilled used the reheat setting at 180 for 22 minutes. Turned out piping hot and potatoes were fine for me. If I had wanted them crisper I would have used the max crisp setting for 1 minute.

Lamb was deliciously cooked but

Why was the potato slice layer seemingly not so cooked. Was the topping cooked separately? Otherwise the remainder of the dish was delightful.

Wonderful Fusion dish

Oven cooked from frozen. Potato on the top was crispy. Meat was tender and succulent, spice was nice a wonderful fusion dish good quantity of meat.

A wonderfully flavoursome dish

A did enjoy this dish, but unfortunately the spices and seasoning somewhat overwhelmed the flavour of the lamb. The meat was cooked perfectly, but more care needs to be taken that the seasoning was removed before being packed (see second picture). Also, the meal needs to be checked for stalks from the seasoning being left behind.

If as much care had been taken in the finish as had been taken in the preparation, this dish would have had a higher score
