Using our delicious roasted duck, we fry with sweet butternut squash, three types of mushrooms, spring onion and some pepper. We then wrap in our beautiful pink handmade skins.

Heating Instructions

As our food is hand-made by our chefs, these reheating instructions are a guide. Check your food is piping hot throughout before serving.

❄️ ❄️ FROM FROZEN (no need to de-frost)

STEAM USING A STEAMER:
1. Remove the packaging and place the dim sum in a steamer, use the steamer paper provided to go under the dim sum. Or you can use baking paper for the same result.
2. Place the steamer on a pot of boiling water (make sure the water is boiling before you start steaming).
3. Steam on high heat for 6-7 minutes.

Mai Dim Sum

My prior experience working with the then Global Executive Head Chef of Hakkasan Group allowed me to understand how well educated the customers in the West were on Chinese food and in particular, Dim Sum. The limited availability of specialist dim sum offerings gave me the idea to launch Mai Dim Sum. The rest is history...

Amazing as always!

Steamer Absent

Wasn’t sure whether steaming them in a sieve over a pan of boiling water was going to work as well as a proper bamboo steamer and apart from being a bit over moist it seemed to work ok. Could just about taste duck; disappointed no dipping sauce was provided so I dipped in plum sauce as I had nothing else appropriate. They were quite nice but I’m not sure I experienced them at their best.

These were so tasty and so moreish! I absolutely loved them!

Delicious and holds shape well

Very pleasantly surprised with how good these dumplings are - it holds its shape well with steaming and taste really good. Nice with some soy sauce on the side :)

Nice but needs more duck in my opinion!

Really nice but not a lot of duck unfortunately, was mostly veg. They were tasty though, could just do with more meat!
