Amaretto Apricot Mochi

An Amaretto Apricot flavored mochi is an exquisite fusion of the nutty, sweet flavor of Amaretto liqueur and the tangy, fruity essence of apricots. This sophisticated dessert features a soft, chewy mochi exterior that wraps around a rich, flavorful filling. The filling combines the aromatic, almond-like taste of Amaretto with the bright, slightly tart sweetness of apricot, creating a luxurious taste experience. The glutinous rice flour dough of the mochi offers a delicate sweetness and a unique texture that beautifully complements the complex, deep flavours of the filling.

Meet Natalia

My journey into the world of mochis began out of sheer curiosity and a love for the art of patisserie. It was three years ago when the subtle beauty of these Japanese rice cakes captured my imagination. Ever since, I've dedicated myself to mastering the delicate balance of texture and flavor that makes each mochi a tiny marvel. My adventure started in my humble home kitchen, experimenting after hours, and has led me to this very moment where I am known for my mochi rice cakes—each a small, edible emblem of my passion for cooking and innovation.

My Review

Lovely presentation and two were inside the box, the creamy texture inside is really lovely and I could really taste the Amaretto , the outside was not soft and did not have a melt in your mouth texture which would have completed it and made the outside shell taste so much nicer, it maybe because it’s frozen and then defrosted and it has a effect on the texture of the outside shell of the dessert, but once this is changed I’m sure the outside of it will taste wonderful too.

Like the apricot puree

Same review as the others 2 flavours i tried but this is higher because the apricot puree is delicious. I am familiar with mochi as asian this is our special treat, this one unfortunately didn’t meet the expectations, skin is very dry and cracked, and would not be surprised because this is being frozen/chilled, transported and then defrosted changed the texture and become very unpleasant, chef should do more research how to keep skin elastic and chewy despite the room temperature difference time to time, filling is nice not overly sweet, shame about the outer layer

Tasty

The outside is a funny rubbery consistency but it's fine, and the inside is creamy with fruit inside, really nice.
