This homemade butter pastry crust is lined with my rich raspberry jam and then filled with an almond-based frangipane. Topped with even more almonds! Can be eaten hot or cold. Perfect for 1 (you won’t want to share!).

Heating Instructions

As our food is hand-made by our chefs, these reheating instructions are a guide. Check your food is piping hot throughout before serving.

❄️ FROM CHILLED

MICROWAVE: Heat on full power(950W) for 30 secoonds. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven for 2-3 minutes or until piping hot.

❄️ ❄️ FROM FROZEN

MICROWAVE: Heat on full power(950W) for 45-60 seconds. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven for 4-5 minutes or until piping hot.

A favourite!

Just the right amount of sweetness and crumbly base. Lovely.

Bakewell is a firm favourite of mine. I ate it defrosted as I fancied a treat. Next time I’ll have to have a bit more patience and enjoy it warm with custard. I’m sure it would make it even better!

Maybe I got an odd batch but it tasted weird, something wasn't right, couldn't eat it unfortunately

Delicious

Got this semi-defrosted and put it in the oven for 15 minutes - I was impatient as Bakewells are my favourite! It was divine, perfect almond flavour with just the right amount of jame. Went down a treat with my afternoon cuppa. Highly recommended

Crumbly Texture

Another go too tarts , soft sweet filling a sweet pastry crumbling base. And the ever favourite topping with almonds. I bought 4 this time as having guests.
It’s the 1st time to fine the topper goes from very pale to well done over different cakes. Overall it just gives a burnt edge on one or a slight nit cooked on the other.
Maybe more quality check in place.
