Meet Valeria

Valeria at Ciao Pizza

I was born and raised in Sardinia, Italy. My family are all foodies, and after studying catering at college & working in fine dining restaurants on the island, I moved with my husband (also a chef) to the UK to pursue my passion for patisserie & baking. I've been lucky enough to work with some amazing people, and had the opportunity to feature on the 1st season of Bake Off Creme de la Creme, which we were finalists in.

This is delicious, the pastry is cooked perfectly and loved the apple used. One of my favourites!

Good dessert

Cooked in air fryer for 2 mins but think better a bit longer as middle not crispy like the sides. Served with a little cream

Delicious light butter tart Tatan. Highly recommended.

A pleasure

A pleasure to eat. Delicious apple flavour with just right level of sweetness + live the fruity glaze.
Middle of pastry wasn't as crisp as the rest, think may be due to frozen then defrosted but also was a very light bake that would have benefited from 3 more mins in oven. Nice serving size for one person.
